Job Summary
We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer with experience in US-based residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role involves structural design, analysis, and preparation of calculations and drawings for masonry, RCC, timber, and steel structures. The candidate should have a strong understanding of structural behavior under lateral loads and be familiar with relevant design software and US codes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural design and analysis for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and construction drawings.
  • Design masonry, RCC, timber/wood, and steel structures as per applicable codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with drafting teams and project stakeholders to ensure accurate project delivery.
  • Review and optimize structural designs for safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience in structural design and drafting of American masonry, RCC, wooden, and steel structures.
  • Experience working on residential and commercial projects (mandatory); industrial project experience is preferred.
  • Exposure to projects in states such as California, Georgia, Arizona, Texas, etc.
  • Strong understanding of structural behavior under lateral loads (wind and seismic forces).
  • Ability to interpret and apply US building codes and standards.

  • Revit Structure (Intermediate level)
  • AutoCAD (Mandatory)
  • Tekla Tedds
  • EnerCalc
  • MS Excel (Design spreadsheets and load calculations)
